A.J. Schaeffer is an entrepreneur focused on transforming communities through the development of profitable, socially responsible companies. 

Most recently, A.J. was a member of the management team and head of business development for a startup pharmaceutical firm. A.J. began his career as an attorney, providing counsel to public and private companies and guiding
pro bono legal service initiatives throughout the United States. AJ was the youngest attorney ever elected partner in his 200-lawyer firm, and served as an officer in the Young Lawyers Divisions of the Kentucky and American Bar Associations. 

A.J. has been honored for his professional and civic leadership, both nationally and regionally, by a wide 
variety of organizations. A.J. graduated summa cum laude from Thomas More College, where he was twice Student Government president, and received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. 

Since 2005, A.J. has served as Board Chairman of Vision 2015, a non-profit organization created to drive community and economic development in Northern Kentucky.
